Here are just some of the remarkable fundraising activities recently undertaken on behalf of WDCS. We would like to sincerely thank every one who has organised, taken part in, sponsored or supported these events!
The Painting Pottery Cafe in Brighton raised £50.00 from their 10th birthday celebrations
Mrs Sheila Clayton from Southampton raised £15.00 by holding a bazaar.
Thomas Foster from Kings Heath in Birmingham raised £26.80 by holding a cake and bric a brac sale at his school.
Zoe Wheatley-Price from Reading raised £33.00 by participating in the Junior Great South Run.
Lewis Stevens from Romford in Essex raised £55.50 by participating in the Havering East Rotary Club 120ft abseil.
Lapal Primary School in Halesowen, West Midlands raised £55.00 by collecting and selling old toys, books and games.
Megan Cantlay & Amanda Finnie from Peterhead in Aberdeenshire raised £105.00 between them by participating in the Aberdeen Big Fun Run.
Rhian Macleod from Musselburgh, East Lothian raised £225.00 by participating in the Great Edinburgh Run.
Zoe Frissen & Grace Ford from Farnborough, Hampshire raised £55.64 by having a stall at their school fayre.
Suzanne Horwood from Newcastle upon Tyne raised £15.00 by having a cake sale.
Harriet & Jessie Clark from Whirlow, Sheffield raised £100.00 by organising a sponsored walk with friends.
Huw & Anna Deighton from Torquay raised £25.00 from their church Christmas Tree Festival.
Heidi Caborn from Taunton raised £25.00 by having a stall at her school fayre.
Candice Miller from Poole in Dorset raised £88.00 by participating in the Junior Great South Run.
Rachel Fox from Sheffield raised £82.35 by holding a raffle at her school.
Elizabeth Gill from Southend on Sea raised £30.00 by requesting donations to WDCS in lieu of wedding presents.
