Celebrate Save the Whale Week at your school!
Participating in Save the Whale Week is a great opportunity for children to have fun and learn about conservation. So join us for Save the Whale Week 2011 by baking a RED or whale themed cake, or cakes, and raise funds to help us keep the whaling ban in place.

Norton Primary School in Stockton on Tees raised £104.00 for Save the Whale Week 2009 by having various activities including wearing red to school, raffling this whale cake made by one of the parents, and selling whale cakes.
Why not auction or raffle your cake, have a ‘guess the weight of the cake’ competition, sell slices to your family, friends and teachers - the possibilities are endless!
You could also combine it with a ‘Whale day’ event or a ‘Wear Red to School’ Day!
Why not learn more about whales in the run up to Save the Whale Week? You could have an assembly or do classroom work….. Please find some teacher’s resources below to help.
