Moray Marathon 2009 - Sunday 13th September
Raise funds to help protect the dolphins of the Moray Firth.
The Moray Marathon is a 3 in 1 running event that incorporates the Marathon, Half Marathon and 10K, the only event of its type in the country.
Moray contains a great diversity of landscapes, which include sandy and rocky shores, rivers, lochs and mountains. Most of these aspects have been incorporated into all three routes by taking runners on tarred roads, passing through the woodlands, coastal areas, towns and villages.

This is a fantastic opportunity to do something practical to help protect the dolphins of the Moray Firth. These highly sentient animals, which make up the only surviving population of its kind in the North Sea, need protection from the many threats they face.
Each participant will receive a free Protect our Dolphins t-shirt.
