Swimming Challenge
The British Gas Great Swim is a series of televised one mile outdoor swims. No walls, no lanes, no chlorine - just the great outdoors.
Great East Swim - 11th June: Takes place at Alton Water reservoir near Ipswich, Suffolk. Choose from either a 1/2 mile, 1 mile & or 2 mile swim.
Great North Swim - 17th - 19th June: Takes place at Lake Windemere in the Lake District. Choose from either a 1 mile or 2 mile swim.
Great London Swim - 2nd July: Takes place at the heart of the capital at the Royal Victoria Dock.
Great Scottish Swim - 24th September: Takes place at Strathclyde Country Park Loch. Choose from either a 1/2 mile or 2k swim.
