WDCS POD Plod

The POD Plod is a brand new challenge event to help raise funds to protect the dolphins of the Moray Firth, exclusive to WDCS and run by WDCS staff. The event is a 26 mile sponsored walk along the breathtaking Moray Coastal Trail from Findhorn Bay to Spey Bay….. the challenge is to do it in 2 days!

Guided by Sarah Dolman, WDCS’s Protect Our Dolphins Campaign Lead and Alice Pope, WDCS’s Scottish Conservation Officer, you will:
- Enjoy a relaxed dolphin and wildlife boat cruise
- Experience breathtaking scenery
- Raise vital funds to protect the amazing dolphins of Scotlands Moray Firth
- Look out for dolphins from viewing spots along the route
- Learn more about our Protect Our Dolphins campaign from WDCS staff
- Enjoy a reception and guided tour of the WDCS Wildlife Centre at Spey Bay
- Finish with a dolphin watching trip to Chanonry Point with Charlie Phillips


To take part in this exciting challenge you simply need to raise a minimum sponsorship of £500 and pay a £150 deposit which includes accommodation, food and all of the above.
The Events Team will always be on hand to help you reach your fundraising target! You will also receive a POD campaign t-shirt and a goody bag as a memento of your trip.
