Stimulate your senses, test your abilities and help whales and dolphins

Challenge imageOverseas challenges are the perfect opportunity to see some of the most stunning places in the world and gain a lasting sense of achievement. Not only will you be testing yourself physically and mentally but you will also be helping to fund WDCS’s work.

We have partnered with Charity Challenge who offer more than 100 treks, bike rides, mountain climbs, horse riding and white water rafting challenges throughout the world. Now you can visit new countries, experience different cultures, improve your fitness and realise your dreams whilst raising vital funds for WDCS.

Challenge imageThe challenges take place in Africa, the Caribbean, Asia, Europe, and the Americas and they cover three different difficulty levels, ensuring there really is something for everyone. They cover 3 days over a long weekend, to three weeks in duration.

You can trek on the Great Wall of China, hike the Inca Trail in Peru, or climb to the summit of Kilimanjaro. You can cycle from Havana to Trinidad, from Saigon to Angkor Watt in Cambodia or from the Andes to the Amazon in Peru.

Rachel Challenge

Rachel Long trekked to the home of the Dalai Lama in March 08, we asked her to sum up her experience:

“Challenging, fulfilling, eye-opening - a great goal to have accomplished..."

“I decided to do this challenge for WDCS because I have been passionate about whales and dolphins since I was a child. To me they stand for peace and freedom, and I will do whatever I can to help them keep that way.

Challenge yourself to make a difference.
