Great Scottish Run - Sunday 6th September 2009

Raise funds to help protect the dolphins of the Moray Firth.

leaping dolphinsThe Great Scottish Run is Scotland’s largest mass participation sporting event, featuring half marathon & 10K distances, plus junior 3k and 1.5k road races – so everyone can take part!

The route passes many of the cities most famous landmarks including the iconic George Square, the historic Glasgow Green, and the unique route across the Kingston Bridge, making the Great Scottish Run a memorable and challenging event.

Online entries are now open with fantastic discounts of over 20% off for a limited time!

For more information about the race and to register please click here.

This is a fantastic opportunity to do something practical to help protect the dolphins of the Moray Firth. These highly sentient animals, which make up the only surviving population of its kind in the North Sea, need protection from the many threats they face.

Each participant will receive a free Protect our Dolphins t-shirt.

The events team is always on hand to help you reach your fundraising targets by helping you to create and use your own online-fundraising page, to help with ideas for offline fundraising and to help you promote what you are doing locally.

We would be delighted to welcome you to Team WDCS once you have secured your place! Please contact Mandie at events@wdcs.org or call 01249 449552.
