Day two in the Lossiemouth WDCS caravan….
Another 4 a.m. start for the survey team.
We head out of the harbour with a beautiful sunrise, making the early start worthwhile. We’re hardly on transect before we spot our first minke of the day. Today we have press on board to interview WDCS about the outer

There’s still too much wind to go out on survey today so we head to the
The ospreys are out fishing again, as well as a few locals, and although the otters are elusive as ever I do spot a seal bobbing about in the river mouth. Tomorrow the weather looks more promising so fingers crossed we’ll get another day of surveying.
