Bravo Brasil
Not only does Brasil boast a link to Ms. Alice Dellal but they have been one of the most outspoken opponents to the Chairman's compromise propsal.
In 1986 Brasil agreed to be be bound by the IWC moratorium. At that time it could have legitimately argued that whaling was being carried out to feed people in Brasil, but it chose not to. It chose to abide by the international consensus.
In a world where three rich countries have refused world opinion, and IWC regulations, Brasil stands shoulders above anyone else in having the right to be heard on any resumption of commercial whaling. So Bravo Brasil - champion of the whales! You and the Latin American countries put New Zealand and the US to shame.
PS. My colleague Niki Entrup is supporting you in the world cup, but don't tell him I told you so.
