Norway stops whaling this year because of a lack of demand

Author - CEO

So as Norway's negotiators are sat in the IWC meeting in Portugal trying to get the IWC to further open up commercial whaling its whalers have had to stop whaling this year because no one wants to buy their whale meat.

Fiskeribladetfiskaren reports that about 360 - 370 whales will be taken in this year’s hunt and the hunt will end up with about 60 or 70 animals less than last year. The whalers have said it's one of the worst years in over 15 years of recent whaling.

Wake up world. The demand for whale meat is diminishing, its time to end this tragic trade once and for all.
